Good afternoon, in this post, I’m going to explain how to connect AdSense to our WordPress website with automatic ads to monetize it. Below, I’ll detail the steps you need to follow:
- In the WordPress Control menu, go to the Plugins option and click on “add new”.
- Search for “Site Kit by Google“ and click on Install now, then click on activate to activate the plugin.
- Next, click on Start Setup and follow the steps to set up Site Kit.
- Finally, click on Connect Service and follow the instructions to configure it. (I recommend allowing Site Kit to place the AdSense code for you).
Log in with your Google account
Once connected, the following screen will appear, where we click on Add site
Add the URL of your website and click on “Save and continue”
Go back to WordPress and click on “Automatic ads enabled for your site”, which will open the following screen where we start configuring them. Once finished, click on “Apply to site”.
Go back to the WordPress page and in “Site Kit” > “AdSense”, we can click on continue. If we are already logged in with our Google AdSense account, we can see that the ads are already enabled, and a message like the one in the image will appear.
Finally, we will see the confirmation that everything has gone well, and we just need to wait for approval to start monetizing your website.
